Avalanche Music Productions was established in 1995 when Liz and Don were members of the Sacramento Symphony Orchestra. A California native, Liz was raised in Phoenix and graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance. Don was the bass trombonist with the Sacramento Symphony and studied and performed in Los Angeles and Munich on trombone and guitar. Liz and Don have performed with renowned orchestras and artists, from Luciano Pavoratti’s Farewell Tour to the Moody Blues in concert. Avalanche performs in several areas of Cailfornia, Nevada and Arizona including Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, Napa Valley, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Sedona. Avalanche travels often, so please inquire about other destinations.

AVALANCHE VIOLIN and GUITAR DUO
The violin and guitar have been paired together throughout history from the Baroque era to the present. Avalanche arranges their own music which includes Classical, Broadway, Jazz, Celtic, Bluegrass, the Beatles, Classic Rock & Holiday selections. DJ SERVICES & MICROPHONE RENTAL

After the live duo music is concluded, Avalanche offers an alternative DJ services where Don supplies the professional quality DJ equipment and plays your CDs and/or iPod. He will also bring hundreds of songs from his library. A microphone for announcements and toasts is included in the DJ service. 

If you’d like to rent a microphone for your officiate during your wedding ceremony or for other occasions, Avalanche offers a standing, cordless microphone with amplification.
